Christian David Ruiz is a sports writer at TomasinoWeb from the Faculty of Arts and Letters.
He is currently in his junior year, taking up a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
In elementary, he tried several sports, including chess and badminton, but ultimately pursued volleyball. David was part of his high school’s volleyball team and is now part of his barangay’s men’s volleyball team.
David once dreamed of playing in the UAAP but was redirected to a different path after the pandemic.
Despite failing to achieve his ultimate dream as an athlete, his love and passion for volleyball remained the same, which led him to become a sports writer for a school publication, aspiring to become the best in his field.
