So, what is
TomasinoWeb?
TomasinoWeb is the premier digital media organization of the University of Santo Tomas that is composed of students who are immensely interested in multimedia journalism. Its primary goal as a student publication is to deliver relevant information to the Thomasian community through online media. Moreover, its goal as a University-wide organization is to conduct activities that will hone the journalistic, artistic, technical, and leadership skills of its members, and to contribute to the mission and vision of the University.
It was founded in 2007 by student volunteers mainly from the Faculty of Arts and Letters and the Faculty of Engineering under the guidance of the Santo Tomas e-Service Providers (sTePs). It was former STePs director Fr. Melchor Saria, O.P. who conceptualized TomasinoWeb.
Mission
TomasinoWeb is dedicated to telling stories and creating experiences that connect Thomasians to news, culture, and entertainment through the modern Web.
