The Tigresses moved to 10-3, tied with the UP Lady Maroons for the second and final twice-to-beat spot.

The first quarter started off with both teams constantly exchanging baskets.

UST pulled ahead courtesy of Pastrana's consecutive baskets followed by efforts from Rocel Dionisio, Santos, and Tacatac ending the quarter with a double-digit lead, 29-19.

Both teams continued to duke it out in the second quarter with FEU persistent on their rally to go by UST.

Bron became the stabilizing force for the Tigresses, drilling timely baskets to not let up in the FEU’s rallies.

Though the Tigresses had poor shooting and several possession fumbles, they were still able to gain over the Tamaraws with a comfortable 12-point cushion, ending halftime at 78-66.

Lady Tamaraw Josee Kaputu provided the heavy lifting for FEU with a staggering 37 points and 15 rebounds. Julie Manguiat and Jaina Del Prado also posted double-digit outings of 16 and 15 markers, respectively.

In the fourth quarter UST seized control of the game with a much more energized and brave offense.
