After coming fifth in last March’s exams, the University reclaimed the title as the top-performing school with 50 to 99 examinees passers in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) for the Elementary level, results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Dec. 13 showed.
UST scored a perfect passing rate with 84 passers in the Elementary LEPT, while the University also emerged as the third best-school in the Secondary level with 123 out of 128 examinees passed.
Here are the Thomasians who secured spots in the top-performing examinees list at the Elementary level:
- 2nd: Primo Magno (93.8)
- 3rd: Athena Ibañez (93.6)
- 4th: Justine Estrada (93.4)
- 9th: Daniella Umingli (92.4)
No Thomasian entered the list of top-performing examinees at the Secondary level.
In the March boards, 54 out of 57 examinees passed the LEPT Secondary level, and 23 out of 24 examinees passed the Elementary level.
A total of 20,025 out of 44,002 Elementary-level examinees and 48,875 out of 85,926 Secondary-level examinees passed the September LEPT.
The examinations were held last Sept. 29 at testing sites in Northern Samar, Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Catanduanes, Masbate, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Laguna, Antique, Negros Occidental, Cagayan de Oro, Negros Oriental, Bohol, Davao, Davao Oriental, Davao Del Norte, Davao Del Sur, Isabela, Batanes, Tacloban, Baguio, Pampanga, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Zamboanga, Metro Manila, Iloilo, Butuan, Cebu, Koronadal, General Santos City, North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Pagadian, and Tuguegarao.
