Three Thomasians secured spots in the Top 10 of the March 2025 Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE), results showed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, April 14.
Thomasian Joseph Benjamin Perez snagged the second spot with an 87.25 score.
Meanwhile, Aaron Terence Ibe and Kyle Patrick Maguistrado were both in the third spot with an 87.08-percent mark.
The University recorded a 79.22-percent rate, lower than the 84.85-percent last April 2024 PLE.
Xavier University is the only top-performing school in this year’s licensure examination, posting an 80.70-percent mark.
Adrian Eleazer Go of Cebu Institute of Medicine topped the examination with a score of 87.75.
The licensure exam posted a total of 49.67-percent national passing rate, with 1,901 passers out of 3,827 examinees.
The PLE was conducted on March 30, 31, April 6, and 7 across testing sites in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
