Two Thomasians rank 5th on March 2024 MedTech boards

Two Thomasians claimed places on the topnotchers of the March 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday, March 27.

Angela Grace Regalado and Denise Antoinette Rivera both garnered a 92.3 percent score, putting them joint fifth in the top 10 highest-scoring examinees.

Meanwhile, the University ranked 10th among the top-performing schools, with 214 passers out of 228 examinees, for a 93.86 passing rate.

In the August 2023 MTLE, the University snagged the fifth spot in the list of top-performing schools with 367 passers out of 391 takers, for the same passing rate of 93.86 percent.

Jeency Pilapil of Cebu Doctors University led the March 2024 batch with a 93.00-percent rating. The same university was hailed as the top-performing school with a perfect passing rate.

According to the PRC, there were 7,309 passers out of 9,068 examinees for the March 2024 MTLE.

The MedTech boards was held in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga testing centers last March 21 and 22.
