After three years of donning the black, gold, and white, UST's Camille "Cams" Victoria announced her departure from the España-based squad, confirmed by sources with TomasinoWeb on Friday morning.

The veteran opposite hitter from Tarlac was expected to be a key piece for a contending UST Golden Tigresses under Coach Kungfu Reyes in the upcoming UAAP Season 85 women's volleyball season before deciding to forgo her final remaining year of eligibility and bid farewell to the University via social media.

"Everything is well with me and the team, as well as that of my former coaches. UST will always hold a special place in my heart," Victoria told TomasinoWeb.

Victoria was part of the Sisi Rondina-led Tigresses team that capped a finals run in Season 81. In Season 84, she helped lead the Tigresses to a 9--5 record, clinching a spot in the Final Four before bowing down to the fourth-seeded Ateneo Lady Eagles.

Meanwhile, a source claimed that the Tarlac native had signed to a new volleyball team in the professional level, although it is yet to be confirmed by both Victoria and her allegedly new team.

While UST says goodbye to its services with Victoria, fans are delighted by Eya Laure's commitment on running it back with the Tigresses for one last time. In addition, a young core of up-and-coming rookies in Xyza Gula, Pierre Abellana, and Regina Jurado have fans ecstatic for this upcoming women's volleyball season after their impressive performances in the recent 2022 Shakey's Super League.

However, UST remains skeptical on the situation of Filipino-Italian spiker Milena Alessandrini, who has yet to suit up for the Tigresses due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament which she endured in Season 81.
