The University was the second top-performing school in the October 2025 Chemist Licensure Examination, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Zeus Nery Cruz, the only Thomasian who got into the Top 10, ranked fourth with a 93.25 percent rating.
UST recorded an 83.75 percent passing rate, with 67 passers out of 80 examinees.
The University of the Philippines – Los Baños clinched the top performing school title with a 95.38 percent passing rate.
According to PRC, 842 out of 1,150 examinees passed the computer-based licensure examination, which was administered on Oct. 13 and 14 in testing centers across Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
