UST is third top-performing school in electrical engineering boards

The University secured the third spot among the top-performing schools in the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE), the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday, Aug. 28.

UST posted an 89.13-percent passing rate, with 41 of 46 examinees passing the licensure exam.

Topping the list was the University of the Philippines - Los Baños with a 100-percent passing rate, followed by the University of Batangas with a 93.33-passing rate.

Jolly Babe Biago of Cebu Institute of Technology-University led the batch with a 93.45-percent rating.

The REELE was administered from Aug. 18 and 19 at PRC Centers in the NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
