Thomasian enters Top 10 in August 2025 mechanical engineering boards

A Thomasian clinched a spot on the Top 10 list of the August 2025 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examinations (MELE).

Carl Diego Sadie, together with Jose Manuel Gaquit of the Cebu Institute of Technology - University and Paul Victor Posadas of the University of San Carlos, shared the fifth spot with a rating of 90 percent.

John Kerwin Enriquez of the Batangas State University - Alangilan topped the new batch of mechanical engineers with a score of 92.60 percent.

The University produced 51 new mechanical engineers in the exams, according to results released on Friday, Aug. 15, by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Batangas State University - Alangilan was hailed as the top-performing school, with 201 out of 239 passers.

The MELE was administered on August 9, 10, and 11 in testing centers in the NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
