Three Thomasians earned top spots in the November 2024 Registered Marketing Professional (RMP) certification exam, results released by the Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc. (JA Philippines) on Thursday, April 3, showed.
Thomasian Mary Christ Pascua led the batch of new marketers, alongside King Benedict Sabido in fourth place and Kobie Andrei Giray in the ninth spot.
The University produced 85 marketing professionals in the certification exams.
The RMP Certification Examination is made by industry experts and academic partners like Pearson Higher Education and McGraw Hills Education to measure students’ skills, creativity, and problem-solving.
Graduation-bound marketing and business students across colleges and entry-level marketing professionals may avail themselves of the certification.
The two-part exam includes a theoretical segment and a case analysis of Marketing Management, Sales and Sales Management, Advertising Integrated Marketing Communication, Services Marketing, E-Marketing, and Brand Management.
JA Philippines, part of JA Worldwide, is a non-governmental organization that prepares students and young professionals to become competitive and establish an edge in applying to companies.
On March 12, JA Philippines and the University partnered to enhance business education through the RMP certification. UST will serve as an examination venue for JA Philippines every November for three years.
