Three Thomasians top November and December 2024 Civil Eng boards

Three Thomasians secured places in the top 10 of the November and December 2024 Civil Engineering Licensure Examinations, results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, Dec. 5, showed.

Jeriko Emanuel Ordan landed at No. 5 with 92.15 percent.

JF Nichols Cortez ranked eighth with a 91.50 percent mark, while Daniel Ivan Cenidoza took the ninth spot with a 91.45 percent score.

The University produced 109 new civil engineers out of its 145 examinees, recording a 75.17 percent passing rate. It significantly improved from the 47.14 passing rate in the April cycle, where 33 passed out of its 70 examinees.

Francis Lauta from the University of Cebu led the batch with a 93.25 score.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman emerged as the top performing school, with 82 out of 88 examinees passing—a 93.18 percent passing rate.

Exams were held in testing centers across Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga, on Nov. 18, 19, 30, and Dec. 1 2024.
