UST marks 10th year perfect streak in 2024 Nursing boards

The University extended its perfect passing rate streak for 10 years in the 2024 Nursing Licensure Examinations (NLE), results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Nov. 29.

Among the 246 new Thomasian nurses, three of them snagged places in the Top Performing Examinees list:

  • Nicole Olvido: 6th place with a 91.40 score
  • Danna Dichos: 9th place with a 90.8 score
  • Karl Abunda: 10th place with a 90.6 score

Chariemae Cañazares from the Cebu Normal University led the batch with a 92.60 score.

Other than UST, ten universities emerged as top-performing schools with 100 or more passers, while 16 universities achieved the top spot with 50 to 99 passed examinees.

According to the PRC, there are 29,349 passers out of 34,534 examinees in this year’s boards.

The nursing boards were conducted in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Tuguegarao, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
