This is a press release from the Tiger Media Network
In celebration of World College Radio Day, UST Tiger Radio is hosting an event at the UST Quadricentennial Park from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on November 8, 2024.
There will be numerous fun and interactive booths that can be looked forward to, highlighting the energy of radio to connect people and share their stories. UST Tiger Radio (TR) has invited different radio jocks from various universities, including the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, the University of the Philippines, and Mapúa University. The event will also feature performances from talented university artists such as Karamel from the Far Eastern University, Along the Alps from the University of the Philippines, Wednesday Nights from San Beda University, and Thomasian favorites Benchfly and Band ni Cat.
This year, TR will amplify voices with TR-MAIL ME, a twist based on the classic “Freedom Wall.” Through this crowd-pleasing feature, everyone, including the students and faculty, can broadcast their anonymous thoughts, shoutouts, or confessions across campus! By simply sending a direct message to @ustigeradio on Instagram, participants can send messages that reach their peers without ever revealing their identity. Isn’t it just the perfect way to keep the beat of campus life alive, letting everyone vibe and connect without holding back?
This event will not be made possible without the support of significant sponsor Chippy and minor sponsors Smart Communications Inc., Yummy Tokyo, Dairy Queen, Funhanmart, Mega Tuna, Tender Juicy & Merry Mix, Chic n Choc, and Crazy Fries & Sausages.
