Thomasian snagged the top spot in the August 2024 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE), results showed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, Aug. 13
Thomasian Riana Beatriz Siron earned the top spot with a score of 92.30 percent.
Five other Thomasians garnered their spots, Noreen Anne Corpuz posted a score of 91.30 and secured the third spot while Regine Kristy Cañada and Julius Miguel Tizon clinched the fifth and sixth spots with 91.10 and 91.0 scores respectively.
Thomasians Kristine Mae Servañez and Ma. Ruth Beltran earned the seventh and ninth spots with 90.90 and 90.70 percent scores respectively.
The University was recognized as the second top-performing school with 95.26 percent, producing 342 out of 359 new medical technologists.
Meanwhile, Saint Louis University was declared as the top-performing school posting a score of 95.40 percent with 83 passers out of 87.
According to the PRC, 3,872 passed the MedTech boards out of its 5,574 examinees.
The MTLE was conducted across testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.
