The University of Santo Tomas (UST) grabbed the second spot in the June 2024 physical therapists licensure examinations (PTLE), results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Monday, June 10 show.
UST recorded a 95.45 percent passing rate with 21 passers from its 22 takers.
During the December 2023 PTLE, UST produced 152 physical therapists out of its 156 takers resulting in a 97.44 percent passing rate.
Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation is the top-performing school with a 96.55 percent passing rate, 28 passers out of 29 takers.
Michael Raymar Nivera of Remedios T. Romualdez Medical Foundation grabbed the No. 1 spot with a 91.95 percent rating.
According to PRC, 516 out of 811 examinees passed the PTLE, with the national passing rate at 63.63 percent.
The licensure examinations were held in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pampanga and Rosales on June 3-6.
