17 new Thomasian occupational therapists pass June 2024 boards

The University of Santo Tomas (UST) produced 17 new occupational therapists in the June 2024 licensure examinations, results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, June 6 show.

UST recorded a 68.00-percent passing rate with 17 passers from its 25 takers.

During the December 2023 OTLE, UST logged a 70.73-percent rate when 58 out of its 82 takers passed. University of the Philippines-Manila is the top-performing school with a perfect passing rate, five passers out of five takers.

Charlie Jean Niere of Davao Doctors College, Inc. grabbed the No. 1 spot with an 82.00-percent rating.

According to PRC, 123 out of 342 examinees passed the OTLE, with the national passing rate at 35.96 percent.

The licensure examinations were held in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pampanga and Rosales on June 5-6.
