The University posts a 75.76 percent passing rate on the May 2024 Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination, Professional Regulation Commission announced on Monday, May 27.
Out of its 33 takers, 25 passed as new Thomasian chemical engineers. This is slightly lower than the October 2023 boards passing rate, where UST recorded 77.22 percent with 61 out of its 79 takers passed.
The University of the Philippines - Diliman and De La Salle University shared the first spot in the list of top performing schools with a perfect passing rate. With 28 and 11 passers, respectively.
Meanwhile, Miguel Bungalon of University of the Philippines - Los Baños is no. 1 in the licensure examinations.
According to PRC, there are 640 passers out of 928 takers for the Chem Engg boards posting a 68.97 percent passing rate.
The licensure examinations for chemical engineers was held in testing centers at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Rosales last May 21 to 23.
