22 Thomasian electrical engineers pass April 2024 boards

The University of Santo Tomas (UST) produced 22 new electrical engineers in the April 2024 Electrical Engineering (EE) licensure examinations, results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Thursday, May 2 show.

UST recorded an 88.00 percent passing rate, with 22 passers out of its 25 examinees. This is higher than the September 2023 EE board passing rate, which stood at 75.95 percent, where 60 out of its 79 takers passed.

Raymond Geoman of Cebu Institute of Technology-University led the batch with a 95.00 percent score.

The University of Batangas is the no. 1 performing school after receiving a 96.20 percent passing rate as 76 out of its 79 examinees passed the exam.

The licensure examinations for electrical engineers was held at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga from April 24 to 26.
