The University grabbed the third spot among the top-performing schools for the Pharmacy Licensure Examinations, the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday, April 23.
Out of its 62 examinees, UST produced 54 new pharmacists for an 87.10 percent passing rate.
During the November 2023 boards, the University also placed third, but with a 95.05 percent passing rate, having 288 passers out of 303 takers.
No Thomasian was able to enter the April 2024 board’s Top 10.
Rhedz-Wei Hadjula from Universidad de Zamboanga led the batch with a 92.85 percent passing rate.
Mariano Marcos State University - Batac was recognized as the best-performing school with 62 passers out of 64 examinees, earning a 96.88 percent passing rate.
The Pharmacy boards took place in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga on April 16 and 17. - with reports from Patricia Lumenario
