Seven candidates remain from the preliminary list for the Central Student Council elections, according to the final list released by the UST Central Commission of Elections (Central COMELEC) on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Mike Roper Cobarrubias, a Legal Management student, withdrew his candidacy as treasurer, leaving Hanah Lauren de Leon from the College of Commerce and Business Administration as the sole aspirant for the post.

Meanwhile, incumbent officers from the Artlets Student Council aim for top posts in the CSC elections, with Timothy John Santiago running for president and John Matthew Enriquez and Hannah Patricia Calara as the vice president and secretary, respectively.

Two Thomasians are still vying for the auditor position: Stephan Gabriel Aseron (Faculty of Pharmacy) and Josh Kenn Viray (College of Information and Computing Sciences).

Completing the list of candidates, Francine Tuazon from the College of Fine Arts and Design is the lone candidate for public relations officer.

The official campaign period will start on Wednesday, Feb. 14, while the elections will be held from April 22 to 27, 2024.
