The University is the sole top-performing school in the January 2024 Architect Licensure examination (ALE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
With 110 new architects produced out of 134 examinees, the University garnered an 82.09 percent passing rate.
Five Thomasians entered the top 10, with Franchesca Lopez leading at rank four, posting an 84.40 percent score.
Nicole Carl Aunario and Andrea Marie Ugay shared the fifth spot with an 84.30 score, followed by Jene Miguel Macam in sixth place with 84.20 percent.
Angel Lyn Balastigue then received an 83.60 percent mark and landed in the seventh spot.
During the June 2023 ALE, the University had 173 passers out of 197 examinees and was hailed as the third top-performing school.
Sherilyn Baniago of the University of the East - Caloocan topped the boards with an 85.50 percent score.
According to PRC, 1,809 out of 2,933 takers passed the examination.
The Architecture boards was held in testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last January 24 and 26, 2024.
