This year's Paskuhan Concert will feature three Thomasian bands, TOMCAT-UST announced on Monday, Dec. 4.
Thomasian bands Kler, Benchfly, and MIMOSA are among the artists that will headline the Paskuhan festivities on Dec. 21 after securing the top three spots in the Tunog Tomasino 2023: Re-Vibe.
During the competition, Kler. performed their rendition of Paramore’s “Ain’t It Fun” and their original composition “NASA.” Benchfly performed their original song “Sushi” and gave their own spin on Coldplay’s “Fix You.” MIMOSA, on the other hand, sang their cover of “Tambay” by Sponge Cola and presented their original song “Paano Na Kaya.”
The competition also featured Thomasian guest performers like Erika Salas, Anton Stefano, and the UST Yellow Jackets.
According to the event hosts, this was the first onsite competition in front of a live audience since the pandemic. Similar to last year, a total of six bands competed in this year’s Tunog Tomasino.
