The University's flagship radio network secured six major awards, including "Station of the Year" in the first-ever International Student Broadcasting Championship (ISBC) led by the Australian-based company Ramp Media.

During the company’s awarding ceremony last Nov. 30, Tiger Media Network announced via their website that the UST Tiger Radio topped against the University of West Georgia's WOLF Radio and WOLF Sports Network, Tuks FM of the University of Pretoria, Boston University's WTBU Radio, and North Metro TAFE Boom Radio.

ISBC also awarded Tiger Radio talents Adrian Molina as Best Content Creator, Abdel Alpad as Best Sports Presenter and Best Content/Program Director, and George Medallon as Best Talk Presenter.

Jerome Racela of UST Tiger Radio shared the Best Social Media Execution award with the State University of New York @WONY-FM’s Gideon Dean.

The International Student Broadcasting Championship is a global competition that premiered in November 2023 and is dedicated to talent discovery and development for students to unlock networking opportunities, brand and talent development, and career prospects in media.

Students across the world compete for awards in radio, broadcast, digital content, e-sports broadcasting, and people's choice categories. Prominent international media workers served as judges in the competition.
