The University secured the second spot among the top-performing schools in the July 2026 Licensure Examination for Interior Designers (LEID), according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, July 22.
UST recorded a 97.59 passing rate, with 81 out of 83 examinees passed, a significant increase from the 52.94-percent rate last July 2025.
Arianne Mae Magat led the Thomasian topnotchers, placing second with a rating of 88-percent, followed by Cristina Mari Adarlo in seventh spot with 86.65-percent, and Maria Veronica Therese Magallanes in 10th spot with 86.45-percent.
The University of San Carlos, University of the Philippines - Diliman, and University of the East - Caloocan tied for the first spot with perfect passing rates in the top performing schools.
The PRC announced that 381 out of 432 passed LEID, which was administered on July 1 to 3, at testing centers in NCR, Cebu, Davao, and Rosales.
