The UST-Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (IPEA) will hold the Season 87 Kickoff Party on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Quadricentennial Pavilion (QPAV).

According to the schedule of events released by IPEA, a celebration of the Holy Eucharist will be held at 10 a.m. at the Santisimo Rosario Parish, followed by the Kickoff Party event proper at 2 p.m. and the tune-up match of the UST Golden Tigresses against the Cherry Tiggo Crossovers at 6 p.m.

The Kickoff Party and the tune-up match will be streamed live on the official Facebook page of UST Tiger TV.

UST Tiger TV will also host the Tigers’ Fair alongside the Kickoff, which will consist of interactive booths featuring the UST Yellow Jackets and the UST judo team, among others.

The Arch of the Centuries and Main Building will be lit in yellow and Thomasians will be encouraged to wear yellow shirts as the University declares Sept. 4 a "Grand Yellow Day."

The opening ceremony of the UAAP is set on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

UST remains the winningest school in the senior and junior divisions of the UAAP and will aim for its 48th and 24th general championships, respectively, this Season 87.-J. Coronel, MJ Jadormio
