UST ranks second in 2024 Master Plumber boards

The University is the second-best-performing school during the February 2024 licensure examination for master plumbers (MPLE), according to results posted by the Professional Regulation Commission on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

UST, which has the most examinees, has 49 new master plumbers out of 60 takers; posting an 81.67 percent score.

During the July 2023 MPLE boards, the University produced 44 master plumbers out of 68 examinees.

Arllan Feoj Santillan from the University of Mindanao - Davao City topped the boards with an 88.80 score.

De La Salle University (DLSU) was named as the top-performing school after its 14 takers all passed.

The national passing rate was recorded at 44.35 percent, with 1,594 passers out of 3,594 examinees.

Meanwhile, the said boards was held in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, and Tacloban last February 15 and 16, 2024.
