The University once again recorded a perfect passing rate in the November 2023 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE), results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Saturday, Nov. 12.
UST maintained its unblemished record after producing 300 new breed of nurses, bringing the streak to nine years. The University also snagged spots in the November 2023 NLE.
Thomasian Aleck Ison secured the third spot with 90.60 percent, while Alyssa Corpuz, Jeffrey Din, and Ivan Martinez all landed on the eighth spot after posting an average of 89.60 percent, while Troy Bisa took the ninth spot with 89.40 percent, while Julia Baltazar and Ma. Frances Paat both garnered 89.20 percent, placing them both at the 10th spot.
Meanwhile, Aristotle Castronuevo of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynial and Cris Tomboc of West Visayas State University-La Paz lead the new breed of nurses, sharing the top spot with a score of 91 percent.
Aside from UST, 16 other schools were hailed as top-performing schools after obtaining a 100 percent passing rate.
There are 25,761 November 2023 NLE passers out of the 32,203 examinees, according to the PRC.
The nursing licensure examinations were conducted in the cities of Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Kidapawan, and Palawan last Nov 11 to 12.
