A eucharistic celebration will be offered tomorrow in celebration of the World’s Teachers Day (WTD) 2023, the Office of the Secretary-General (OSG) announced on Wednesday, October 4.

In a circular, OSG said that the mass will happen at 7:30 a.m. in Santissimo Rosario Parish, which will be presided by its parish priest, Rev. Fr. Paul Reagan O. Talavera O.P.

The Secretary-General encouraged the Thomasian community to thank their teachers for inspiring them to embody the University's core values.

Teachers have become a beacon of hope and should be honored “through our prayers, in social media, and any other means,” according to the office.

In honor of remembering teachers, the OSG also challenged Thomasians to name their former teachers up to the most recent as part of the celebration.

Aside from WTD, the country is also celebrating National Teachers Month from Sept. 5 to Oct. 5 with the theme “Together4Teachers”.
