Eya Laure paced UST with 15 points coming off 13 attacks and two service aces, while Caitlin Viray chipped in 11 markers in the losing cause.

“Yung pagka bata ng team lumalabas kaya pinalitan namin ng seniors yung mga rookies pero hindi pa rin napunan kung anong pagkukulang. So this game, binigay ko sa seniors kaya makikita natin na mas maraming seniors sa loob,” UST assistant coach Ian Fernandez said.

The Tigresses committed a total of 33 errors to give FEU the edge to win.

“Actually yang 33 errors na yan is more on receive and service errors. So again, lagi kong sinasabi sa nga bata, last two games pa lang ng elimination to minimize na errors. Our target is 25 errors pababa,” he explained.

Jerrili Malabanan lead the Lady Tamaraws with 13 points from 10 attacks, followed by Lycha Ebon and Angela Negrito with 12 points apiece.

The Golden Tigresses will next face the Adamson Lady Falcons for a battle for third place which schedule is yet to be announced.
