UST tops June 2019 architecture boards

The University was named as the top performing school in the June 2019 licensure examination for architects, with four Thomasians landing in the top 10.

UST recorded a 92.86-percent passing rate, in which 195 out of 210 Thomasian examinees passed the exam.

This was higher than last year’s 84.19 percent, wherein 197 out of 234 examinees made the cut.

Jilliane Salinas Espinosa and Marc Chialor Bance Orgado led the new batch of Thomasian architects after placing third with a score of 84.30 percent.

Thomasian Paulo Zab David placed seventh with a score of 83 percent, while Criselle Ong Chua landed in the eighth spot after scoring 82.90 percent.

Moreover, John Vincent Rojo Lopez of Eulogio (Amang) Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology led the new batch of architects with a score of 84.90 percent.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 2,104 out of 3,172 passed the board exam nationwide.

The University ranked third in the August and September 2019 licensure examinations for Electrical Engineers while a lone Thomasian landed on the topnotchers.

Derrick Munar Ramos, the lone Thomasian who made it to the roster of top ten highest scorers, took the third spot.

According to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the University yielded a 97.92 percent passing rate, with 94 out of 96 examinees making the cut. 

This is a drop of 2.08 percent from last year’s 100 percent.

Meanwhile, Mikhael Glen Borja Lataza of University of San Carlos claimed the top spot.

Camarines Norte State Colleges – Daet also took the third spot in the top performing schools, while University of Batangas and University of the Philippines – Diliman took the top spot.

This year’s national passing rate of 67.16 percent (1,606 out of 4,891) saw an improvement of .42 percent from the previous year’s performance of 66.74 (1,562 out of 4,697) percent.

The University, however, retained its 100 percent passing rate for the Master Electrician examinations as its lone bet managed to ace the test.

Nanatili ang Unibersidad sa ika-apat na pwesto sa katatapos lang na mechanical engineering licensure examination nitong Agosto.

Pumalo sa 94.29 porsyento ang passing rate ng Unibersidad o 132 sa 140 na kumuha ng pagsusulit.

Ito ay higit na mataas kumpara noong Agosto 2018 na may 87.18 porsyento at February 2019 na 58.82 porsyento lamang.

Nasungkit ni Caryl Patrick Rivera ang ika-apat na pwesto matapos magtala ng gradong 93.55. Siya ang kaisa-isang Tomasinong nakapasok sa Top 10.

Samantala, si Lester Toledo naman ng Cebu Institute of Technology- University ang nanguna sa mga bagong rehistradong mechanical engineer na nakakuha ng gradong 94.65.

Ang Batangas State University sa Alangilan ang hinirang na top-performing school matapos pumasa lahat ang mga kumuha ng pagsusulit.

3,928 ang pumasa mula sa 5,563 na kumuha ng pagsusulit sa buong bansa, ayon sa Philippine Regulation Commission.

Hinirang ang Unibersidad bilang pangalawang top-performing school sa Agosto 2019 Nutrition and Dietitian licensure exams na inilabas kanina, ika-22 ng Agosto.

Ayon sa resulta ng nagdaang pagsusulit, pumasa ang 104 sa 105 na Tomasino, o 99.05 porsyento ng mga kumuha ng pagsusulit.

Nakamit ni Sean Frances Barredo ang ikatlong pwesto matapos magtala ng 89.70 porsyento.

Si Grace Eunice Salvacion mula sa Adventist University of the Philippines ang nanguna sa pagsusulit matapos makakuha ng 90.95 porsyento.

Kinilala ang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas (UP) – Los Baños at Diliman bilang top-performing schools sa kakatapos na board exam. Nagtala ang parehong paaralan ng 100 porsyentong passing rate.

Bahagyang bumaba ang mga nakapasang Tomasino sa pagsusulit mula sa 100 porsyentong passing rate noong 2018.

Ang Unibersidad ay pumangalawa rin sa naturang board exam noong Agosto 2017, kung saan ang UP – Los Baños at UP – Diliman din ang nanguna.

Ayon sa Philippine Regulation Commission, 968 ang nakapasa mula sa 1,517 na kumuha ng pagsusulit.

Kinakailangang 30 ang makapasa sa mga estudyante ng paaralan o 90-porsyentong passing rate o higit pa upang mapabilang sa mga top-performing schools.
