It was a night of glitz and glamour as 13 fine-looking gentlemen and 13 exquisitely beautiful ladies in the hopes of bringing pride and glory to their respective colleges contended in the University’s annual Search for the Ideal Thomasian Personality 2010 last February 16 at the Medicine Auditorium.

One Voice, winner of the Himig Tomasino made the Invocation which is ensued by an AVP of the Pre-pageant staged last January 23 at the Albertus Magnus Building showcasing the candidates in their respective theme wear. The theme of this year’s pageant centered on the emblems of nationalism which depicts the Filipino culture and its unique identity.

The candidates flaunted their casual wear thereafter and had casual interviews with the Masters of Ceremony. As part of the formal wear segment, Mithi and One Shade delivered outstanding performances whilst the contestants walked in their designer gowns and barong.

Scores were brought back to zero after the top five male and female finalists had been announced. The final question was the a crucial deciding factor in selecting the winners. It centered on the outstanding qualities of each candidate as a Thomasian, nay, a Filipino towards propagating a stimulus for change in the societal context. Justin Hebreo and Charm Charmberlin, Thomasian Ideal Personalities of 2009 did their final walk before passing on the title.

Jose Samaniego IV (Mr. CRS) and Ma. Cristina Cipriano (Ms. Arts & Letters) were awarded 2nd runner-up whilst Pepe Felicita (Mr. Education) and Joanna Cindy Miranda (Ms. CTHM) were named first runner-up.
