Artlet prof is new public admin schools chair
A Political Science professor was elected as the new president of the Association of Schools of Public Administration of the Philippines (ASPAP).
Dr. Edwin Martin, a professor in the Faculty of Arts and Letters and Graduate School, will replace Eleazar Ricote of Jose Rizal University.
Aside from political science, Martin also teaches public administration in the University. He also served as the director for public affairs of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy in the Arts and Letters in 1984 and finished his master’s and doctorate degrees in public administration in the Graduate School, in 1995 and 2006, respectively.
Established in 1979, ASPAP is the national organization of universities in the country that offers public administration and management education program.
