Artlet prof elected to nat’l political science association board
A professor from the Faculty of Arts and Letters was elected as one the of the members of the Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA) Board of Trustees.
Political Science Department head Assoc. Prof. Dennis Coronacion was named as one of the seven trustees during the PPSA’s International Conference held last May 11 to 12 at Cebu City.
The newly-elected members will serve until 2019.
Coronacion earned his bachelor’s degree in political science in the Arts and Letters in 1997. He also finished his master’s degree and doctorate of philosophy in political science in the University, in 2005 and 2015, respectively.
PPSA is a non-sectarian organization of academic professionals, mandated to promote and support political science as a discipline and seeks to bring together political scientists of similar fields to raise awareness in understanding the politics of Asia. -C.N. Dumaua
