Accountancy alumna ranks 2nd in int’l management accountant exams
The exam was administered by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA)
Accountancy graduate Eunice Ann Libaton placed second in the January-February batch of the worldwide examination for certified management accountants.
Libaton, who just graduated last year from the AMV-College of Accountancy, said that she was surprised with her ranking.
“I only received an e-mail about passing the exam, not my rank. I was already happy because that was all I prayed and hoped for. So when I heard the news, it came as a surprise.”
“This is not only my achievement but also of the people who supported me especially my family. They believed in me first and they were always there supporting me in their own ways,” she added.
The exam was administered by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA).
She will travel to the United States to receive her medal and certificate of recognition from ICMA’s Board of Regents.
Libaton also graduated from the UST Education High School in 2011.
