WITH a passing rate of 84.26 percent, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) placed 6th in the top performing schools of the September 2012 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination.
A total of 91 out of 108 Thomasian examinees passed the said exam, giving the University a higher passing percentage compared to September last year’s 80.25 percent, which placed UST in 5th top spot.
The Batangas State University climbed to the top spot with 97.73 percent. In 2011, they placed second.
Meanwhile, the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila produced this year’s topnotcher, Kenneth Tejadilla Del Rosario with 94.65 percent.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results on October 2, after six working days. It announced this year’s 2,026 passers out of 2,900.
