Four Thomasians were included in the top ten list of the August 2012 Medicine Board Examination or the Physician Licensure Exam (PLE), while the University of Santo Tomas (UST) landed second school with the highest passing percentage.
Alexander Sabbun Manguba Jr. with 89.08 percent score obtained the second highest spot while Nellowe Calderon Candelario with 89 percent got the third. Both Patricia Garcia Amolenda and Mar Angelo Tadlas Carrasco with 87.67 percent placed 8th in the top ten.
UST, with a passing rate of 98.71 percent, along with Ateneo De Manila University, was named as the second top performing school; While University of the Philippines-Manila with 99.35 was named first.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released last August 30, 2012 the results of the Medicine Board Exam, wherein 1,684 passed out of the 2,137 examinees. The results were released four working days after the last examination day, which was on August 26.
