Pharma, Archi Studes Win Tiger Games

Enduring the day’s torrential rains, group “White 3” emerged victorious in the “Tiger Games: Manila Scavenger Hunt”, topping the rest of their 92 team-contenders last July 29.

White 3, which was composed of Pharmacy and Architecture students, dominated the scavenger hunt, gaining a total of 204 points.

“Red 8” and “Yellow 3” fell short of 12 and 24 points to the champions with a score card of 192 and 180 respectively.

Each group had a running facilitator which served as overseers. All observed the “Time in – Time out” basis system, for clear tallying of the scores.

Four stations located around Manila became flagship stations: The University of Santo Tomas, Post Office of Manila, Intramuros, and Luneta Park. Each station was further divided into a number of substations.

Riddles, mind, body games, and food challenges dared all of the 930 Tiger Games players. Once they accomplished the challenges for each flagship station, they headed back to the University.

The champions received Php15,000 while the runners-up received Php10,000 and Php5,000. Each team claimed a six-month supply of Garnier products.

The awarding ceremony was hosted by Georgina Wilson, Garnier Philippines Ambassador, and Kendra Duran, Central Student Council (CSC) Secretary.

Tiger Games was a joint project of the the CSC, Central Board of the CSC, and Garnier Philippines.
