UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS – “The Search for the Ideal Education Personality 2010: Kolortura (TSIEP),” having a theme that promotes Filipino’s colors and culture, held its grand coronation day at the Medicine Auditorium on November 24, 2010.

Nine organizations of the College of Education joined TSIEP namely: Student-Teachers’ Association of UST (STAUST), Philippine Association of Food Technologists (PAFT), Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSE), Library Information Science Students Association (LISSA), Elementary Education Society (EES), Guild of Thomasian Speducators (GUTS), Philippine Association of Nutritionists (PAN), Community of Achievers Association (COMACH), and Rythmyx Dance Troupe (RDT).

According to Ruth Paulina Mesa, the former Ms. Philippine Association of Nutritionists (PAN) and the 2nd runner up of last year’s TSIEP who spearheaded this year’s pageant, the search was so spectacular that everyone was surprised seeing the candidates with their attires which showcased ethnic, casual, sports, and formal wears; it was so stiff that the judges were hard up in choosing the rightful ones for the crown.

At the end of the competition, Gabriel Nicolo Castro, the PAN Representative, came first as the Mr. Ideal Education Personality, and Nicollete Dimal from GUTS became the Ms. Ideal Education Personality.

Castro said that he was so happy and grateful for being the Mr. Education; and thus, he will whole-heartedly do his best to accomplish his mission of being the winner of the upcoming Thomasian Ideal Personality pageant, and to make his college proud.

John Paulo Madridejos, from COMACH, and Czarina LouiseTacanay from EES turned out to be the 1st runner up; Anton Jerome Veneracion from LISSA and Bianca Guzman from PAN befell to be the 2nd runner up. TW
